In addition to conducting field R&D studies for product efficacy and crops developed through biotechnology, LABServices also offers clients storage and distribution for experimental and commercially-available crop production products needed for R&D studies.
Product Shipping Representative TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The primary responsibilities for this role, product shipping representative, are as follows:
? Log and track inventory of conventional and biopesticides, fertilizers, seed, and other agricultural products.
? Distribution and packaging of research and development (R&D) in sample size amount of products.
? Communicate with clients to establish specific needs for R&D products.
? Become familiar with USDA regulations for the shipment of seed, biopesticides, and living plants or pest pathogens.
? Become IATA and DOT certified to ship restricted products domestically and internationally.
? Prepare documents for regulatory submission to address issues at the federal, state and local levels.
? Work effectively as part of a research-driven team of scientists and professionals.
QUALIFICATIONS/JOB REQUIREMENTS ? B.

in a life-science field or business, logistics or inventory management experience preferred.
Some math aptitude required.
? Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks related to client requests in a timely manner.
Ability to prioritize tasks in a frequently-changing environment.
? Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Detail-driven.
? Ability to establish effective networks within supplier, client and external R&D communities.
? Ability to understand and read lot numbers and recognize the importance in inventory management.
? Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment to yield constructive interactions and productive outcomes.
? Able to troubleshoot and problem solve.
? Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
? Must be able to learn new software programming.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS ? Experience with logistics, inventory management and packing/shipping desirable.
? Experience using inventory programs.
? Social media savvy.
